In this section of the gospel of Mark we see Jesus predicting his own death. Again the disciples misunderstand and even begin to argue about which one of them is the greatest. And so Jesus begins to teach them about kingdom ambition. Not an ambition for personal gain and advancement, but of service in Jesus' name.
